- To promote higher education for all through multiple models and with special focus on disadvantaged section of the society.
- To endeavor towards excellence through the framework of Christianity’s ethical, spiritual and moral absolutes, and to offer instructions in doctrines of Christianity, especially through the models and teaching of Union of Evangelical Students of India.
- To nurture a lifelong thirst for learning by encouraging students to discover and bring out their potential, both within the classroom and outside.
- To facilitate and undertake innovative programs between public and private sectors and to enrich the understanding of society, history and economy. To offer skill development and livelihood programmes for the disadvantaged section and women, in partnership with state and central governments, and private entities.
- To be a center of excellence in education and to emphasize on community service for sustainable development and culture.
- To organize seminars and conferences on issues those are imperative to the development of human resources
- To promote music, sports and fine arts.
- To engage the community in collective responsibilities towards the growth and progress of the college.
- To strive for obtaining/attaining university status in future and bring in courses other than Arts course.
